Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance has the responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and parts inventory on County-owned vehicles.
The services are performed at the Public Works Department Shop facility by qualified mechanics and technicians that provide the safest, most cost effective, and time efficient solutions for the County's fleet needs. This includes 187 vehicles and equipment across the following areas:
Citizens' Drop-Off Area
Parks and Recreation
Road and Bridge
Facilities and Parks
The repair and maintenance of each asset, which are tracked by service requests and work orders through the use of the Department's asset management database, are completed according to a schedule of preventative maintenance and/or on an as needed basis.
