Overview
The Library Advisory Board (LAB) will formulate opinions regarding the operation of the Sumter County Library System (SCLS) and advise the Library Services Manager and Board of County Commissioners regarding policies, objectives and alternatives. The LAB will work with the Library Services Manager in defining and determining the direction of the library system for all Sumter County residents.

Meetings
The Board meets on the fourth Thursday during the months of January, March, May, September, and on the third Thursday in November. Meetings are held at the Lake-Sumter Community College in Sumterville at 10:00 am unless the Chair of the Board otherwise informs the Board.
