Ground Breaking
The Ground Breaking Ceremony was held on December 29, 2009 at 3:00p.m. at 7375 CR 139 (the intersection of 466A and CR 139).

On April 28, 2009 the Board of County Commissioners awarded the Architectural contract to KP Studio Architect and on December 8, 2009 the Board of County Commissioners awarded the General Contractor Contract to Emmett Sapp Builders, Inc.

The First floor of the building is a total of 41,948 square feet, 26,446 square feet of the first floor will include the Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, Sheriff’s Office, Building Department, Fire & Rescue Services Administration, Community Services Administration, Veteran Services, Library Services, Transit, Planning & Development, and GIS Departments. The Second floor of the building is 7,212 square feet and includes the County Commissioners, County Administration, Budget & Purchasing, Human Resources, Impact Fees and Assessments and Risk Management Departments.
