The mission of the Budget office is to provide information, analysis, and staff support sufficient for the
County Administrator and the
Board of County Commissioners to make well informed financial, program, and management decisions.
Budget Office objectives and priorities:
- Conducting statistical analysis
- Estimating cash balances
- Facilitating the expansion of public education on the county budget
- Grants oversight
- Monitoring the debt schedule and funds
- Acting as a point of contact for departmental budget issues
- Preparing studies at the request of the County Administrator or the Board of County Commissioners
- Revenue and expenditure forecasting
