Responsibilities
The Risk Management Department handles:
- Fleet, Property, Inland Marine, General and Aggregate liability and workers compensation
- Employee health / dental insurance including term life, short term, and long term disability
- Training for wellness, safety, and loss control
- Coordination of various other volunteer / supplemental services
- Assisting employees with insurance questions or claim issues
Mission
To provide professional oversight and administration of the County insurance program through comprehensive insurance management, loss control, and prevention; while providing quality benefits, wellness training / awareness and customer service to the employees of Sumter County. |
