Click here to see the new Fee Schedule

The Sumter County Building Department’s fee schedule was developed to more uniformly collect user fees based on the services offered by the Building Department. The fee schedule consists of flat rate and calculated minimum fees for services.

It is important to note that the “Inspection Unit Fee” is a unit of measurement that includes all expenses incurred by the Building Department such as plan review, permitting, inspections, and contractor licensing services, available to our customers. Re-inspection fees will be calculated at a rate of $50.00 per inspection.

Road impact, fire impact and fire assessment fees are calculated utilizing other Sumter County Ordinances.

Fees for building permit applications received on or before Friday, June 29, 2007 will be calculated utilizing the previous Building Permit Fee Schedule.
