Sumter County Board of County Commissioners approved Sumter County Purchasing Policy and Procedures revision on May 26th, 2015. The Office of Management & Budget will have Purchasing Policy and Procedures Training on June 23rd, 2015 at 8:00am in Room 102 at The Villages Sumter County Service Center. Please, let all personnel with purchasing and/or solicitation responsibilities know of this upcoming opportunity. The training seminar will highlight changes in the policy and procedures, provide staff with purchasing checklists and requisition requirements, discuss how to prepare invoices for payment, address formal solicitation and special purchases.
