The City of Wildwood and Sumter County have mutually agreed that the County will begin to operate the Wildwood Library as a branch library of the County, effective 10/1/09. It is expected that the library's hours will change so that the library will be open one evening/week. The collection, services and programs of the library will be enhanced by the direct support of the Sumter County Library System's administration.
